Visitors can see the new steel solutions in AR, using holograms. The virtual elements are represented on a 1:1 scale to ensure that the demonstration is as realistic as possible.

This new disruptive, interactive and immersive mode of presentation engages AM's customers who are more inclined to take a closer look at the products. Finally, AM no longer has to transport parts of real vehicles around the world for its demonstrations.

Features

A number of features enhance the experience:

Collaborative mode : Several users, even on different devices, can join a session and interact with the holograms together,
Spectator View mode : A camera can be used to retransmit the live video stream of the view into the HoloLens. This feature is particularly useful for use at trade fairs and conferences,
Display of exploded views, animations and product descriptions,
Marker recognition to superimpose information on real objects,
Show points of interest : documents, videos and images.
