Development of a 3D virtual tour to allow users to discover Technip Energies ships, visualize the operation of equipment and explore the highlights.
Technip Energies, the world leader in petroleum services, sought to promote its technical expertise with its partners by offering a immersive and interactive visit of its ships, in particular the Apache 2. The aim was to allow users to visualize the equipment and to explore the ship functionalities in detail.
CONSEIL 3D has developed a interactive virtual tour accessible from a PC or tablet.
Users can:
- Get around in the 3D model of the Apache 2 ship.
- Visualize animations explaining how the equipment works.
- Discover the strengths through interactive points of interest including: 360° photos, PPT or PDF documents, videos and images
La 3D modeling was made from CAD files provided by Technip, with processes of automatic cleaning of polygons to optimize the models. Photos taken on site were used as references for the textures, ensuring a faithful reproduction of the ship.
The virtual tour of the Apache 2 ship allows Technip to introduce his ships of manner immersive and interactive, strengthening the understanding andinterest of its partners for its technical expertise. This innovative solution improves communication and provides a detailed overview of vessel capabilities.
