Virtual reality application to raise awareness among the general public about the importance of colorectal cancer screening through educational and fun interactions in virtual environments.
A pharmaceutical company wanted to raise awareness among the general public about the importance of colorectal cancer screening, a health issue that is often taboo. The objective was to create an immersive virtual reality experience that would inform and educate interactively, while making the subject more accessible.
CONSEIL 3D has developed a virtual reality application in which the user evolves in two distinct environments: a living room and a medical office. Through educational interactions and fun elements, the user is made aware of the importance of colorectal cancer screening. The cartoon graphic style was chosen to approach this delicate subject lightly. The application was widely used during the “Blue Mars” campaign, a month to raise awareness about colorectal cancer, where Roche teams travelled across France to carry out awareness-raising actions in public places.
This immersive application made it possible to reach a large audience, making learning on a delicate medical subject more engaging and accessible. Thanks to virtual reality, users have been actively involved in the awareness-raising process, which has contributed to a better understanding of the importance of screening and to the promotion of preventive public health.
